Apprentice Welder / Fabricator

Lux Custom Boats is seeking a motivated Apprentice Welder / Fabricator to join their team in Henderson. This is an excellent opportunity to commence a trade career with a Western Australian manufacturer specialising in custom aluminium boat construction. 

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of aluminium boatbuilding while completing a full-time apprenticeship. 

Duties will include:

• Assisting with aluminium boat fabrication, hull assembly and fit-out
• Learning aluminium welding techniques under supervision
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Measuring, marking and cutting materials
• Safely using hand and power tools
• Assisting with boat component installation and general workshop tasks
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Participating in formal training and completing apprenticeship requirement
